Recently developing speech synthesis,
recognition, and compression
algorithms in Mathcad with Fonix. This
development programming has been
mostly in the areas of utterance filtering and marking for
automating
small systems pallette making, compression, and synthesis.
Development Programming in Pascal analyzing the
sound
of crunching ready to eat cereal pieces,
and modeling microwave heating of food portions at Quaker.
However,
the jump from food research to speech synthesis wasn't as big as
one would suppose,
because the wavelengths for human speech and kitchen microwave
ovens
are roughly the same and much of the math is the same.
Experienced in research in a wide range of math
and physics disciplines.
Used this in 12 years research programming in Pascal and Delphi.
Did 4 years of research programming in APL,
2 years in C(Enjoys learning programming languages and is
presently
brushing up my C++ and would like to learn Java.), 2 years in
machine code,
and a year in AWK. UNIX HTML experience making software
documentation intranet site. Reads writes and speaks German.
Math, physics, and statistics background qualifies him for
multiple areas of Development
Programming. Comfortable using a text editor to make and edit
text web pages like these
with internal and external hyperlinks, and comfortable using web
page
editors to introduce graphics and fancier formatting.
